THE ASEAN CLASSROOM 2019

The Summer School was held on 20 – 26 September 2019. This activity is a collaboration between Gudlak ID and Universiti Science Islam Malaysia (USIM). In addition, this Summer School also collaborates with a Malaysian community called The Bulb On Project and the International Law Unit. The theme of this Summer School is Promoting Peace and Humanity in Contemporary World.

Activities in the ASEAN Classroom focused on intellectual discussions on various topics, which Kaylee Koehlinger attended as a Volunteer Heavenly Culture World Peace, Restoration of Light in Indiana, United States. The uniqueness of this event is that almost all discussion and learning activities are carried out outdoors, one of which is social activities at the Nurul Jannah Care Center, Kuala Lumpur.

In addition to discussion activities and the Volunteer Project, the participants were invited to visit historic sites in Malaysia, such as the Monument of Malaysia and the Campus Tour. They also experienced an unforgettable program, the Amazing Race, one of the programs the participants have been waiting for the most.
